Bill works in both painting and pottery. Bill always smiles brightly when asked if he’d like to work on his painting or pottery pieces.

Bill has a unique style when he paints. He often uses a downward paint stroke, starting at the top and pulling the paint downwards to the bottom. As Bill layers his paints, he ends his work with a brighter color over the darker colors with a diagonal direction.

Bill’s work seems to look like a doorway or window is slightly open and the bright colored light is flooding in.

 

Bill really enjoys his art time, he will talk and paint at the same time enjoying conversation with the art room staff. Bill often leaves the art room relaxed and calm.
